about us

At Found Stuff, we specialize in certified appraisals, estate sales, moving sales, liquidations, consignment and online auction sales. Our credentials include the Certified Appraiser designation from the Certified Appraisers Guild of America.  With years of experience in the antique and appraisal professions, we offer real world value appraisals and professional estate liquidation services.

Founder of Found Stuff Estate Sales and Appraisals, Robin Caton, has been a full time antique dealer and certified appraiser since 1988. Her years of experience have given her a broad knowledge base of art, antiques, jewelry and collectibles. Robin grew up in the antique business, where she learned from her parents and grandparents, who owned antique shops in Oregon. Robin has personally owned several antique shops over the years including a 44,000 square feet antique gallery.  Appraisals, antiques and estate/moving sales are her full-time business.

To insure the highest professional service to her clients, Robin attends additional training seminars and accreditation courses every year. Robin has completed training for the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, enacted to promote and preserve the public trust inherent in professional appraisal practice.  The standards require that an appraiser must observe the highest standards of professional ethics in conduct, management, confidentiality and record keeping.

Found Stuff is comprised of a long-tenured, experienced team. The Found Stuff staff is focused on ensuring top notch service for you.

Found Stuff is licensed, bonded and insured in Oregon, Washington & California

Our Services

Certified appraisals

Only full-time, certified professionals can accurately provide real world values for your items.

Professional Estate/Moving Sales

Our team has years of experience and can get you top dollar for your items. We handle everything from beginning to end, including sorting, pricing, merchandising, advertising and conducting the sale. There are no up front fees and no hidden costs. Fees are based on a sliding scale, decreasing as total sales volume increases. We never buy at our sales; it's not ethical for us to price it and then buy it. For accountability, after the sale we provide you with a detailed computer generated report listing every item sold and how much it brought.

Online Auction Sales

Since 1996 our team has sold over 10,000 items on eBay and has been awarded the designation, eBay Power Seller.

Consignment Sales

In addition to eBay, the Found Stuff team sells at five or more antique shows each year, giving consigned merchandise maximum exposure for maximum return.

Found Stuff has a long history of satisfied clients and customers. References are available upon request. Found Stuff is honored to be listed on the Oregon Bar Association website as a preferred estate sale company.
